Your pharmacists review and approve. The bots do the typing.
- Prescriptions read with AI OCR and entered into Kroll
- Batch processing live at Hamilton Pharmacy
- Grant funding can cover part of the cost
Where pharmacy time goes
Every prescription that arrives by fax, scan or e-prescription has to be typed into Kroll, and every batch has to be worked through by hand. Apex Bit automates both, so your pharmacists review and approve instead of retyping.

Pharmacy questions, answered
Have a question that isn’t here? Email info@apexbit.net and we will reply within one business day.
Does it work with Kroll?
Yes. Prescriptions are entered into Kroll by bots that use the same screens your staff use, and every entry waits for pharmacist review.
Which prescription formats can it read?
Faxes, scans, e-prescriptions and photos. Anything the AI is not sure about is flagged for a person instead of guessed.
Does a pharmacist still check every prescription?
Yes. Automation does the data entry. Your pharmacists review and approve, the same as today.
How is patient information protected?
Data stays inside the systems you already approve, access is limited to what each automation needs, and every step is logged. We design each automation around your privacy obligations, including PHIPA.
Can a grant help pay for it?
Often, yes. Ontario and federal programs can cover part of the planning or project cost. We check this in the free assessment. See grant options.
